# Why didn't I receive an SMS code?

If you don’t receive your SMS verification code during Set Your Vector registration, check the following:

- **Check your phone number.** Make sure it was entered correctly and that your phone can receive text messages.
- **Allow time for delivery.** Wait a few minutes, then request a new code if that option is available.
- **Check your number’s eligibility.** SMS verification is currently available **only for phone numbers registered in the United States or Canada**.

If your phone number is registered outside the US or Canada, use **TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password)** with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator.

If you have already added an ineligible phone number to your account, the quickest resolution is to **create a new account**, **leave the phone number blank**, and set up TOTP.
