# What are the phases and key dates of the competition?

The competition consists of three phases: education and training, a virtual competition, and an in-person competition.

The education and training phase will continue through September 19. The virtual competition will take place September 25–27.

Participants who achieve qualifying placements in the virtual competition will advance to the in-person competition, which will be held on October 4 at the University of Texas at Dallas.
